To provide scoring analysis, points tracking, and qualification insights, we receive competition information from USEF and USHJA that relates to riders, horses, results, scores, points, and show participation, and we associate it with your profile. This may include your membership or ID numbers and competition history.
When you use the Service we may collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, language, crash logs and diagnostics, and usage data such as features used, screens viewed, and timestamps. If you grant permission, we may also collect your approximate location to show nearby events and access your camera or photo library so you can upload images. You can control these permissions in your device settings.
Other users may post content that mentions or includes you, and our partners may provide data as described in 2(b).
The chatbot is powered by artificial intelligence. Your messages, and relevant profile context such as your discipline and goals, are sent to a third-party AI service provider so that responses can be generated. We require our AI provider to use your content only to provide the service to us. Please do not enter sensitive information such as passwords, financial account numbers, health information, or government ID numbers into the chatbot. AI responses may be inaccurate and are not professional advice. We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you solely through automated means.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
Our website and app may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand usage. We may use third-party analytics and crash-reporting tools for these purposes. You can limit cookies in your browser and limit ad tracking in your device settings. We do not run third-party advertising in the Service. Because there is no consistent industry standard, we do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required by law.
Under 13. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Service, contact us at sulu@eqnav.com.
Ages 13 to 17. Teens may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We collect only the information reasonably needed to provide the Service to a teen. We do not sell or share a minor's personal information for advertising, and we do not knowingly use it for targeted advertising. A parent or guardian may at any time review the information we hold about their child, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent and request account closure by contacting sulu@eqnav.com.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except where we must keep it longer to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or maintain security and backup records. Content already shared with or copied by other users, and information in routine backups, may persist for a limited time. Waitlist information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. AI chatbot conversations are kept while your account is active and are deleted or de-identified when your account is deleted.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights, email sulu@eqnav.com from the address linked to your account or use the in-app account settings. We may need to verify your identity, and parents or guardians may act for a minor. We will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in any email, and turn off device permissions or push notifications in your device settings.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), you have the rights described above. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information listed in Section 2 (identifiers, commercial and usage information, internet and device activity, user-generated content, and approximate location where enabled), for the purposes in Section 3, and disclosed them to the recipients in Section 5. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California's "Shine the Light" law allows residents to request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; we make no such disclosures.
Other U.S. states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others) have similar rights and may exercise them using the methods above.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud hosting, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and protect your device. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
The Service is intended for users in the United States. Your information is processed and stored in the United States, and may be processed by service providers elsewhere. The Service is not intended for use outside the U.S.
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services, including USEF, USHJA, show organizers, and app stores. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or on our website, and update the "Last Updated" date above.
